Admirals Suffer Heartbreaking Loss To IMG 35-34

River City Prep Admirals suffered a heartbreaking loss yesterday at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. In one of the most exciting games to be in, IMG took an early 21-6 lead off of many miscues of the Admirals in the first half before River City came storming back right before halftime in which the Admirals scored 2 touchdowns within a 2 minute span. The Admirals found themselves down by 1-point at halftime 21-20 to the Ascenders.

The second half was all Admirals early as River City found themselves up 13 over the defending NPGAA National Champs 34-21 with just over 9 minutes to play in the 4th quarter when multiple special teams blunders and senseless penalties let the champs back in the game and taking the lead 35-34. The Admirals had one last possession to get into field goal range, but yet again penalties thwarted the efforts of River City. IMG 35-RCP 34 Final.
