Admirals Announce Carl Nesmith as Defensive Coordinator

Founder of North Florida Elite 7v7, Carl Nesmith has an extensive background in the game of football with a standout career on all 3 levels of football high school (Raines), College (Butler CC/Kansas) and the NFL. His love for football has brought him to give back to the young athletes of Jacksonville and surrounding areas. Carl has many years of coaching experience and is the former Head football coach at Joshua Christian Academy. Carl has accepted a position as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach with River City Prep and had a stint at the University of Virginia Lynchburg. Nesmith has extensive knowledge as a trainer and has also held over 40 youth camps over the past few years and has hosted over twenty-five 7v7 tournaments around the state of Florida. Carl prides himself on assisting each athlete that he comes in contact with to reach their full potential on and off the field. He created North Florida Elite to fill a need of more off season football in the community, as well as offer youth an activity to gain mentorship, friendship and to sharpen their skills during the off season.
